Community Equipment Amnesty

(Published on 06/10/2016)

Do you have NHS equipment at home that you no longer need? Then Liverpool Community Health's Community Equipment Service wants to hear from you!

Non-return of NHS-loaned equipment costs the local NHS about £500,000 each year – money that could be re-invested to support other patients. Each manual wheelchair returned saves at least £135, walking sticks £15 and seats £25-50.

If you or a family member has equipment that is no longer needed you can arrange for it to be collected. Just call 0151 295 9816.

You can also return it yourself, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, at either:

  • Units 4 -7 Graylaw Trading Estate, Aintree, L9 7AU
  • Lifehouse Centre, Summers Road, Brunswick Business Park, Liverpool, L3 4BL
