Bridge Community Centre

Description

Community Centre offering a variety of activities and support to the local community.

We welcome residents from the all areas and post codes.

We pride ourselves on our open door policy to welcome as many people as we can from all areas, including the general public, people with mental health related issues, autism, learning disabilities, older people and dementia suffers.

There are a wide variety of courses and activities available. We have a drop in with a café on site. Food Bank Vouchers available. We are happy to be working alongside St Andrews Network Clubmoor.

Regular activities

Monday

  • Maths and English Functional Skills. Call the centre for more information and to book.
  • 10am - 12pm Free Digital Hub Get free support from Digital Champion volunteers with basic computer skills such as using emails, Facebook, searching ofr a job, online shopping and more. Part of Include IT Mersey (click)
  • 10am - 12.30pm Support & Talk Sessions about anxiety, panic attacks and depression.
  • 10.30am Art class £3.00 All materials will be provided. See the flyer at the bottom of this page.
  • 11am Support & Talk Sessions about anxiety, panic attacks and depression. Appointment available - call the centre.
  • 12.30pm - 2pm Bingo & Lunch Club £6 including soup/lunch/desert/refreshments.

Tuesday

  • English & Maths Functional Skills up to Level 3
  • 2.15pn - 4.15pm Mind Therapy Clay Making Workshop coming soon. £3.50 includes refreshments and biscuits. For more information call or visit the centre.
  • 6pm - 9pm Disability Disco & Karaoke. All ages and abilities. £3.00. Food available for purchase.
  • 6.15pm - 7.15pm Kickboxing. People with disabilities welcome. £4.00

Wednesday

  • 10.00am - 12.00pm Able Table Tennis Sessions. £2.50 (Day and time may vary)
  • 2:00 - 5:00pm Four Corners Community History, free.
  • Support & Talk Sessions about anxiety, panic attacks and depression. Appointment available - call the centre.
  • 4.00pm Walking football at Ellergreen Centre 8 weeks starting 3 October 2018. £3 on the day £2.50 pre sign up. No age limit or runnning. See the flyer at the bottom of this page.

Thursday

  • 10.00am Walking Football. £3.00
  • 10.30am Table Top Sale fee entry. £7 to book a table.
  • 1.15-2.30pm Cookery Workshop £4.00 including ingredients. See the flyer at the bottom of this page
  • 1.30pm - 3pm Computer confidence skills
  • 6.15 - 7.15pm Kickboxing. People with disabilities welcome. £4.00

Friday

  • 10am Support & Talk Sessions about anxiety, panic attacks and depression. Appointment available - call the centre.
  • 10am onward ICT Drop In for beginners
  • 1pm Health In Mind (HIM) activities
  • 2pm Wo-Men in sheds project workshop.
  • 2.30pm Sharing and Caring - sharing stories, games, raffles, bingo
